Catholic Catechism
The Catechism is in book form but can also be found online. This link will take you to one that allows for easy searching on various topics, including prayer.
Holy Bible
The following link will take you to an online version of the Revised Standard Version - Catholic Edition. It will start in the Book of Psalms, which are helpful for prayer of all types.
The Sign of the Cross
Did you know that the Sign of the Cross is a very ancient Christian prayer? Do you know its history and significance? Check out this video featuring author Bert Ghezzi, who wrote "The Sign of the Cross: Recovering the Power of the Ancient Prayer" which can be found on Amazon.
Abortion
In the U.S. alone, since 1973, there have been over 60 million abortions. In addition to the babies who died, there have been tens of millions of women who went through the procedure. So many women (and fathers of those children) are walking around in hurt and unforgiveness. The demons torment and lie to them, telling them they can never be forgiven and loved by God. Jesus' Divine Mercy is stronger than those lies from hell. Women are now admitting in public their abortions. Use that opportunity to pray for them. And if the Lord in your prayer walks would bring someone to you who has had an abortion, you can direct them to a group such as Rachel's Vineyard, that helps women in healing the pain of abortion.
Supporting Others Both Prayerfully and Materially
A great organization I've been using for more than a decade is called Unbound. They allow you to support an individual in another country through monthly help. It gives you a chance to pray for one specific person, with the hope that the both of you can one day meet and praise God eternally in Heaven. Why not check it out? It gives you a chance to specifically carry out Jesus' call to feed/clothe the poor.
